As a member of the End User Services team, the EDPSystems Analyst IV provides technical hardware/software support for clientcomputers and other technologies within MassBay. This individual providescourteous, timely, and effective assistance to students, faculty and staff,including classroom, lab, and event support. Areas of responsibility are theFramingham and Wellesley Hills Campuses, and the Ashland Technology Center.

Required Qualifications:
Applicantsmust have at least (A) five years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professionalexperience in electronic data processing, of which (B) at least three yearsmust have been in work in which the major duties included computer systemsanalysis, or (C) any equivalent combination of the required experience and thesubstitutions below.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
I. An Associate's degree with amajor in the field of data processing or computer programming may besubstituted for a maximum of one year of the required (A) experience.*
II. A Bachelor's or higher degreewith a major in the field of data processing or computer and/or informationscience may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the required (A)experience.*
III. A diploma for completion of atwo year full-time, or equivalent part-time, program in a recognized non-degreegranting business or vocational/technical school above the high school levelwith a major in the field of computer programming may be substituted for amaximum of one year of the required (A) experience.*
IV. An official transcript from arecognized business or vocational/ technical school as evidence of completionof a program consisting of at least 650 hours of instruction in the field ofcomputer programming may besubstituted for a maximum of one year of the required (A) experience.
V. Graduation from the dataprocessing course of a recognized vocational/technical high school may besubstituted for a maximum of one year of the required (A) experience.
*Education toward such a degree or diploma will be proratedon the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.
NOTE: No substitution will beallowed for the one year of the required (B) experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in package creation, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of college hardware, software and miscellaneous equipment;
- Assist with monitoring, triaging and escalating IT help desk ticket requests and incidents;
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to software deployment and workstation imaging, particularly within macOS;
- Creates and maintains standards and procedural documentation;
- Perform routine computer, printer, and peripherals maintenance;
- Support college-wide and multi-campus audiovisual services in classrooms, meeting spaces, and auditorium;
- Provide end user training when necessary;
- Make necessary adjustments and/or arrangements for outside repair as needed;
- Support computers and peripheral equipment using a variety of operating systems and applications;
- Works independently and exercises reasonable judgment with little supervision while providing clear documentation of activities and accomplishments;
- Assist with interviewing, evaluating and recommending applicants for future EDP Analyst roles, Part Time roles, and Student Worker positions to Director;
- Act as liaison between users, End User Services team and Director to set and adjust work priorities;
- Perform Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience Administering Windows 10, 11 and Mac OS;
- Knowledge of and technical experience supporting Apple products;
- Experience with macOS installation, troubleshooting, recovery;
- Experience administering Mobile Device Management;
- Experience with patch management solutions such as JAMF, PDQ and Vicarius;
- Experience administering Microsoft Development Toolkit (MDT);
- Experience with Microsoft Autopilot;
- Experience troubleshooting audiovisual equipment;
- CompTIA A+ Certification;
- Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action and workforce diversity;
- Experience working in a diverse environment;
- Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved students;
- Experience working in a multi-user environment supporting users at different levels;
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills;
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) or Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC);
- Basic knowledge of Bash, Python or Zsh scripting.
