The Role:

The Senior External Wholesaler will be expected to consistently sell Bonaventure's value proposition across multiple investment channels, ensuring continuous engagement and interest from potential and existing clients. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on promoting Bonaventure's diverse product offerings and securing investments through various channels. You will be responsible for driving Bonaventure's capital-raising and client relationship efforts across the designated region. This individual will engage in the full lifecycle of client relationship activities, from initial prospecting to onboarding new relationships and maintaining relationships with current and new clients. As the senior person on your team, you will assist in coaching your teammates to perform at their best and develop into top tier wholesalers.

Responsibilities:
  • Drives fundraising across our suite of investment products
  • Leveraging personal networks to identify new prospective Partners
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the investment strategy and outcomes to effectively represent the firm's products both internally and externally.
  • Continually creates new sales ideas/ways to advocate product (e.g., blog posts, thought leadership ideas).
  • Identifies target opportunities within the region to leverage Bonaventure's strengths and implement sales campaigns.
  • Perform proactive sales calls, meetings, and sales campaigns to promote Bonaventure's product offerings to existing and new investors.
  • Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy.
  • Manage and coach the regional team to drive consistent capital to BMIT while adjusting to the capital needs of other timely offerings
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market, advisor, and investor trends.


Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of total experience.
  • Strong and demonstrated experience raising capital from RIAs and Independent Broker Dealers.
  • Product experience in alternatives, multifamily real estate preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory environments across the US and the ability to navigate these jurisdictions from a sales and regulatory perspective.
  • Ability to work with a dynamic (i.e., continually growing and evolving) product set.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional ability to manage time, priorities, and internal expectations.
  • Exceptional work ethic and a desire to succeed. Bonaventure expects the candidate to grow in tandem with the firm's growth.
  • Ability to travel to clients frequently.
  • Compensation: The base annual salary range for this position is expected to be $150-200K + BPS. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual, team, and company performance.
