Your Job
Eco-Tec, A Kovalus Separation Solutions Company is looking for a Manager, Materials
Management in our Pickering, ON location.
The incumbent is responsible to ensure that quality materials are provided on time to our
manufacturing operations, at the best possible cost and to ensure smooth logistics and
material flow from suppliers and to customers worldwide. The incumbent is also
responsible for all inventory and work-in-process management.
The Manager will provide management and leadership to subordinates within the
department, to create a smooth functioning, responsive, effective and efficient team
meeting departmental objectives in line with company goals.

What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities)
Manage and oversee the handling of all raw and finished goods inventory.
Supervise all warehousing functions, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Ensure accountability for all physical materials within the organization.
Enforce adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures.
Lead and develop the materials management team, fostering a culture of excellence
and continuous improvement.
Supervise the team including hiring decisions, delegation, training, performance
evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate records and
efficient operations.
Effectively lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts along
with reconciliations.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless material flow and support
production schedules.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and
quality standards.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
Prepare and present reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and other relevant
metrics to senior management.
Perform other duties as required.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Education
o Master or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics,
Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
o 10+ years' experience in materials management, inventory control, and
international logistics, or a similar role.
Skills
o Negotiation proficiency
o Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
o Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
o Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Knowledge of legislative and safety regulations related to warehousing and
materials handling.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Software Knowledge
o ERP like Visibility.
Travel (if applicable) - 10% travel. Ability to travel when needed with a valid passport
that allows you to travel internationally; legally eligible to enter the USA.

o Certification in Supply Chain Management or Inventory Control (e.g., APICS,
CPIM).
o Experience with ERP systems.
