First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Leasing Officer to join the First Hawaiian Leasing Team. This position is responsible for achieving predetermined goals through direct marketing and providing the highest quality service to customers within an assigned market segment, working independently within defined parameters. In addition, this position is responsible for conducting sales and relationship management activities utilizing disciplines and behaviors consistent with First Hawaiian Bank's superior service qualities and the 5 Cs of credit.
Key Position Accountabilities:
Calls on existing and prospective clients through a direct and referral calling program in order to pursue equipment financing opportunities Manages client relationships and a diversified equipment lease portfolio consisting of small, middle market and large ticket transactions Analyzes pertinent credit information, financial statements and related data to evaluate requests for credit Coordinates the proper documentation, closing and disbursement of equipment leases and loans
Compensation:
The annual salary range for the Officer level role is $70,000 - $95,000 / annually; commensurate with experience.
The annual salary range for the AVP level role is $87,000 - $120,000 / annually; commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience. The position level and pay is at the discretion of the Manager and will be discussed at the time of the offer.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ( hours may vary )
Required Experience:
Leasing Officer:
o Bachelor's degree in finance, business-related field or equivalent experience
o 3 years of sales experience in a financial sales or banking-related field, including at least 2 years of commercial lending experience
o Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate an automobile
AVP, Leasing Officer:
o Bachelor's degree in finance, business-related field or equivalent experience
o 5 years of sales experience in a financial sales or baking-related field, including at least 2 years of commercial lending experience
o Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate an automobile

Key Position Accountabilities:
- Stays informed on tax law changes and proposed changes
- Maintains strong working relationships with clients, vendors, brokers and First Hawaiian Bank commercial banking lenders
- With minimal supervision, prepares formal written equipment financing requests and memos, structures, prices and recommends commercial credit requests for equipment financing, inclusive of correspondence to appropriate staff members and individuals outside of First Hawaiian Bank
- Extends lending authority within stated limits
- Prepares formal written requests and presentations to Credit Committee as required
Compensation:
