The Opportunity
The Chan Zuckerberg Biohub - Chicago is seeking an outstanding Scientist to join our team and contribute to our mission of deciphering fundamental disease mechanisms and developing technologies for actionable diagnostics and effective therapies. This position focuses on a collaborative project aimed at developing bioelectronic interfaces for organoids and tissue models. Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of achievement and a commitment to work collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment.

The Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network requires all employees, regardless of work location or type of role, to provide proof of their initial COVID-19 vaccination by their start date. Compensation
New hires are typically hired into the lower portion of the range, enabling employee growth in the range over time. To determine starting pay, we consider multiple job-related factors including a candidate's skills, education and experience, market demand, business needs, and internal parity. We may also adjust this range in the future based on market data. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range during the hiring process.

What You'll Do
- Lead wet-lab experiments exploring bioelectronic device development
- Work with biology team(s) to demonstrate device integration
- Collaborate with other Biohub teams to integrate technologies into research workflows
- Engage in scientific communication, including publication of findings and research products
What You'll Bring
- PhD or MD with relevant research experience
- Demonstrated leadership, track record of innovation, and ability to work collaboratively
- Knowledge of bioelectronics and device microfabrication
- Proven ability to lead complex research projects
