Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design and Construction Manager to lead and oversee the design and construction phases of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project planning, design, and execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the design and construction phases of projects from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop project designs that meet client requirements and comply with regulations.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Review and approve design documents, specifications, and construction plans to ensure feasibility and compliance.
  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project deliverables align with expectations.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify and address potential risks, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and solutions.
  • Lead project meetings to align teams, facilitate decision-making, and maintain project momentum.
  • Promote safety, sustainability, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • Must have a Professional Engineer's license (PE)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and construction management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, MS Project).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in project management or construction management (e.g., PMP, CCM) is a plus.
