Description:
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for consideration to fill an open Project Manager IT Mobile Support position in our Program Management Services Division. This position will be located at our Client's Rochester, NY offices.
The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
Responsible for assisting Electric Operations Site Leads and crew members with updates, connection, and application issues with the assigned computers, tablets, and mobile devices. Travel is required to the multiple sites within the assigned division. In addition to strong IT knowledge and experience, the following skills will be essential:
Communication with the corporate IT office on issues, trends, and fix actions
Application and system configuration troubleshooting
Increasing system/device performance
Assisting with pending updates and application installs
Identifying connection issues with ethernet and wireless networks
Coordinating with Site Leads for travel and personnel availability
o Initial system setup upon delivery to the sites
o Work with Site Lead and assigned personnel on device applications
o Assist with user device efficiency with application usage
Maintain a knowledge base of the Android Galaxy devices used by the contracted personnel to include:
To ensure success as an IT Technician, you should display the strong technical aptitude needed to help solve technical issues as quickly as possible. Ultimately, an outstanding IT Technician should be able to thrive in the rapidly changing industry of information technology.
Salary: 70,000 to 100,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
IT Support Technician Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining a company's technological equipment, such as computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
Ensuring that company devices interconnect with file servers, email servers, and financial systems seamlessly.
Installing and upgrading software and hardware on company devices.
Creating instructions for system/device fix actions for future use.
Requirements
IT Technician Requirements:
Expertise in IT tools and concepts, such as operating systems and internet protocol suites.
Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations.
Experience working with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
Expertise in configuring and managing Samsung, Dell, and Android devices.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical personnel
