Description:

The DEVCOM AC Armament Software Engineering Center (Armament SEC) is seeking a highly qualified CMMI Consultant Level 3 to conduct CMMI V3.0 Evaluations and Benchmark appraisals. The selected Contractor will be responsible for delivering expert guidance and training in accordance with the CMMI V3.0 Appraisal Methodology. This role requires a dedicated Lead Appraiser who possesses the necessary CMMI Institute Authorized Instructor and High Maturity Lead Appraiser credentials

**Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct CMMI V3.0 Evaluations and Benchmark appraisals covering Maturity Levels 1 through 5.
- Provide training to DEVCOM AC appraisal team members and other key project personnel to ensure effective understanding and implementation of CMMI practices.
- Facilitate all appraisal-related meetings, training sessions, and activities at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
- Utilize Appraisal Wizard software or a compatible tool for CMMI Appraisal Readiness Reviews and appraisal events.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with CMMI requirements and to identify opportunities for process improvement

Requirements

**Requirements:

1. **Educational Background:** - A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems) is preferred. - CMMI Institute Authorized Instructor and High Maturity Lead Appraiser credentials are mandatory

2. **Experience:** - Proven experience in conducting CMMI V3.0 Evaluations and Benchmark appraisals. - Past experience in a similar CMMI consulting role within government and/or private industry. - Demonstrated expertise in Information Systems and Infrastructure support, preferably within the Department of Defense or related sectors

3. **Technical Skills:** - Strong understanding of CMMI V3.0 process areas and appraisal methodologies. - Proficiency in using appraisal tools, specifically Appraisal Wizard or equivalent software. - Ability to provide skilled technical support and guidance to meet the organization's appraisal requirements

4. **Personal Attributes:** - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster collaboration among diverse groups

**Evaluation Criteria: Relevant education, experience, and expertise aligned with the 2025 CMMI V3.0 Appraisal requirements. - Demonstrated experience and capability in providing infrastructure and information systems support. - Proven track record of delivering skilled technical support to fulfill contractual requirements
