Pediatric Radiologist Charlotte - Radiologist

Charlotte Radiology is seeking a full-time, partnership-track, pediatric radiologist to join four other pediatric radiologists. Our imaging services cover Charlotte and the surrounding areas within the footprint of Atrium Health. We are based at Levine Children's Hospital, a 240 bed, quaternary care facility with a strong pediatric residency training program and a deep subspecialty staff in all areas of pediatric medicine. We also provide remote coverage for Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital, a 53-bed, tertiary care facility.

• We are seeking a full-time pediatric radiologist to share a mix of weekday, weekend day, and weekday evening shifts with our group of four based at Levine Children's Hospital. Evening shifts may currently be done from a provided home workstation.

• We cover all modalities of pediatric body imaging, including plain radiographs, CT, MRI, US, and fluoroscopy. There is the opportunity to perform ultrasound-guided needle procedures if the candidate is capable and so inclined, but this is not a requirement. Pediatric Neuro and Musculoskeletal CT and MRI are covered separately by our Neuro and Musculoskeletal sections.

• Overnight and weekend-evening pediatric imaging is covered via teleradiology by a separate team of board-certified pediatric radiologists.
• We teach pediatric residents, Wake Forest medical students, and emergency medicine fellows on elective rotations; hold regular inpatient radiology rounds with pediatric clinical teams; and participate in several multidisciplinary conferences.

• Since 2011, our section has grown from one pediatric radiologist to our current team of four. Our patient population continues to expand, and we expect significant continued growth over the next several years.

Position Requirements:

• ABR certification.
• Fellowship-trained in pediatric radiologywith CAQ (or CAQ-eligible) in pediatric radiology.

Compensation and benefits:

• $400k base salary; up to $100k productivity bonus.
