Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting & Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process, including setting benchmarks and aligning forecasts with company goals. Partner with cross-functional teams to create rolling forecasts and refine financial plans.
  • Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze key financial metrics for a SaaS/ FinTech business model. Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to provide accurate forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Reporting & Insights: Analyze and interpret financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Business Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate financial and operational KPIs to assess company performance. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess new revenue streams, market expansion opportunities, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to FP&A processes and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy. Support system implementations or upgrades (e.g., ERP, BI tools).
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles, preferably within the SaaS or Fintech industry.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with SaaS-specific metrics and KPIs.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statement analysis.
  • Proficiency with FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach.
