What you'll do
- Design, develop, and implement training programs aligned with nbkc goals and strategies.
- Develop and oversee training initiatives, including onboarding, leadership development, and technical skills.
- Work with Human Resources partners and leaders to understand departmental training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
- Use employee feedback, performance data, and other metrics to continuously improve training programs.
- Deliver or oversee the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Ensure the use of appropriate learning methodologies (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led, blended learning).
- Monitor and guide the effectiveness of training sessions, ensuring high-quality content and engagement.
- Track, measure, and report the success of learning and development programs using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop leadership training programs aimed at cultivating future leaders within the organization.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth within the company.
- Encourage employees to take ownership of their professional development through various learning opportunities
- Evaluate and manage external training vendors, consultants, and partnerships.
- Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track employee progress and improve learning experiences.
- Stay up to date with the latest learning technologies and recommend new tools to enhance learning delivery.
- Lead a team of Learning and Development professionals
- Follows all applicable laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned
What you'll bring
- 5+ years' experience in Training and Development in a large corporate or consulting environment, including designing, developing, and facilitating training solutions and materials including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT) and micro learning.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with multiple priorities that need to be effectively managed, while maintaining composure and flexibility.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- High school diploma or GED required
Bonus Points
- 2+ years of mortgage-industry related experience or knowledge.
- Building custom programs from the ground-up, like in a start-up environment (whether the organization or L&D department was building from scratch).
- CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) Certification, APTD (Associate Professional in Talent Development), CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development), PHR or SPHR Certification, and/or Master's Degree.
- Consultant-based and intrapreneurial mindset to partner with our employees to push for growth and innovation.
- Creative content creation and successful development and implementation of ongoing training and development programs.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop talent and effectively provide constructive feedback to learners.
- Strong consulting skills with a client-focused mind-set; building valuable relationships based on trust, respect and collaboration.
- Excellent verbal communication and facilitation skills in different in different settings ranging from one-on-one meetings to small and large groups.
- Experience utilizing LearnAmp or Quantum Workplace
