We're looking for someone to join our team as a Medical Mobile Unit Provider - Pediatric Focused who:
Attends the acute care, preventative care, and general primary care services needs of our communities across Kern County. The provider must demonstrate experience working in a diverse environment, be flexible, knowledgeable, and compassionate towards the care of our patients. The Mobile Unit Provider works within a warm, caring atmosphere where the health of our patients is of top priority.
Benefits:
$180,000 Base salary (Commensurate with experience) Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance for physician and family (begins on first day of employment) Sign-on bonus or Mortgage Subsidy Paid CME Relocation reimbursement Loan repayment through the NHSC. Malpractice coverage through the FTCA/Federal Tort Claims Act. J1/H-1B visa candidates are welcome, CSV is cap exempt for H1-B Visa
Essential Functions:
Provides healthcare services in the mobile unit to patients in various locations including schools, homeless shelter centers, agricultural sites, and special events throughout Kern and Fresno Counites. Be flexible to work different hours and days depending on organizational needs. Work independently and be able to adapt and make high level decisions in stressful situations. Participate in staff meetings and provide advice on strategic planning. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, such as primary care providers, clinical pharmacist, psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients. Keeps accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. Always adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics. Always assures quality of care for all patients and regularly participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs Shares in phone-triage responsibilities with other CSV providers. MD-DOs only: Required to supervise advance practice providers (Nurse practitioners and/or Physicians Assistants) working in any of our clinics on-site or by telephone.
