About the Job
As a Senior Business Analyst-Inflight Records, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, managing, and enhancing systems related to Flight Attendant (FA) operational data. This position involves gathering and defining requirements for managing flight attendant records, operational metrics, compliance tracking, and performance data to improve workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the delivery of features that streamline operations and contribute to overall service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Business Insights and Analysis
  • Analyze complex operational data related to Flight Attendant performance, attendance, training records, and compliance.
  • Identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement based on FA data and operational metrics.
  • Apply predictive analytics to forecast staffing and operational needs and provide recommendations on business impacts and changes.

Tool Proficiency
  • Utilize tools such as Power BI, Kibana, and UDH to gather, analyze, and visualize FA-related data, enabling data-driven decisions that improve operations and employee management.

Collaboration with Stakeholders
  • Translate high-level business requirements related to FA data and operational needs into detailed user stories for development and QA teams.
  • Work with business stakeholders to ensure that FA record management systems align with company goals, enhancing employee efficiency and compliance.

Project Management and Methodology
  • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) to manage and prioritize digital projects related to Flight Attendant record management.
  • Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and measurable impact on operational effectiveness.

Presentation and Reporting
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior management with findings from FA data analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Create clear and insightful visualizations to guide decision-making related to FA records management.

Collaboration with Developers
  • Partner with developers to ensure FA records management systems, such as data collection tools, performance trackers, and compliance monitors, are aligned with technical roadmaps and business strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., HR, operations, and training departments) and technical teams to implement and continuously improve FA data systems.

Qualifications

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field.

Experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in the airline industry, focusing on employee records or operational data management.

Skills and Knowledge
  • Proven experience delivering business insights and managing operational records systems, specifically for Flight Attendants or similar roles.
  • Solid understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and standard processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
  • Expertise in using data analysis tools such as Power BI, Kibana, and UDH.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Zeplin.

Preferred
  • Master's degree in Business Technology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with Flight Attendant records management, including performance tracking, compliance monitoring, and workforce optimization.
  • Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Certifications in analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Kibana).

Logistics
  • Location: Remote within the United States; USC or Green Card holders only.
  • Travel: Up to 50%.
  • Duration: 1-year contract with high potential to extend.
  • Time Zone: CST or EST preferred.
  • Pay Range: $55-70 per hour - W2 Only

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
