Pay: $85,000 to $125,000 depending on your skills and years of experience

Pay: $85,000 to $125,000 depending on your skills and years of experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and execute site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control plans, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Create construction plans using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, providing clear and accurate documentation.
- Prepare detailed project specifications and cost estimates.
- Independently plan and coordinate projects, requiring minimal supervision.
- Contribute to project proposals and assist in developing project scopes and estimates.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, with a strong focus on delivering projects on-time and under-budget.
- Communicate regularly with clients to build and maintain strong relationships and ensure project satisfaction.
- Collaborate daily with department management and project team members, ensuring project goals and timelines are met.
- Provide regular budgetary reviews throughout project lifecycles to drive efficiency.
- Report directly to the Director of Civil Engineering, offering updates on project progress and challenges.
- Mentor and develop team members, contributing to a supportive and knowledgeable team environment.
- Assist in contractual negotiations to support project needs and client requirements.
Education / Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- 2-5 years of experience in an engineering consulting firm or a similar work environment is required.
- Proven ability to apply engineering principles to broad and varied project assignments.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Demonstrated experience and commitment toward obtaining PE licensure.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong organizational skills.
- Experience in electric utility or renewable energy projects is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Must pass a drug screening and background check, including a 7-year criminal history and Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Valid driver's license required.
