We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bridge Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Lehigh Valley, PA. As a Bridge Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, design, and execution of structural bridge projects, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering strong team collaboration, driving project success, and contributing to HRG's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage all aspects of bridge and transportation projects, from conception to completion
- Client Engagement: Maintain effective project communications, represent the company in client interactions, and deliver impactful presentations
- Design Expertise: Perform and oversee structural bridge and transportation designs, ensuring compliance with engineering standards
- Technical Analysis: Lead and contribute to bridge studies and reports to guide project decisions
- Quality Assurance: Conduct QA/QC reviews, seal plans, and certify project reports
- Contract Management: Prepare and administer construction contracts, in accordance to PennDOT design standards, with precision and accuracy
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, control financial resources, and ensure profitability
- Bridge Programs: Assist with and/or manage municipal bridge programs, including Capital Improvement Plans
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and inspire service group staff, fostering a culture of professional growth
- Collaboration: Cooperate with other service groups to deliver multidisciplinary solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Professional Engineering license
- 5+ years of project experience including:
o PENNDOT design procedures
o Bridge design and project experience
- NBIS bridge inspection experience preferred, but not required
o Bridge maintenance and rehabilitation design
o PennDOT Pub 408 Specifications and PennDOT BD / BC Standards
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with project management systems such as Deltek Vision
- Client-focused leader and team player with strong budgeting, communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary (Valid U.S. driver's license is required)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
