The Director of HR Operations partners closely with the EVP of HR and TPS leaders to implement strategic HR initiatives and ensure seamless and compliant operational processes and systems. The role involves assessing current HR operations, developing scalable solutions for future growth, and strengthening the HR team's capabilities. This includes guiding the full spectrum of HR operations-covering everything from total rewards and compensation to policy development and compliance-while managing continuous improvement and change management efforts.
The Director of HR Operations reports directly to Executive VP of Human Resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be a TPS brand ambassador
Develop, implement, and maintain HR processes and policies that align with TPS objectives, ensuring both efficiency and scalability across departments.
Manage all aspects of employee data management, total rewards, compensation, payroll, and leave programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Translate strategic goals into day-to-day HR operations, offering guidance and support to managers and employees.
Coach, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering professional growth and ensuring readiness for future organizational needs.
Oversee audits, compliance reporting, and the timely filing of necessary documentation to authorities.
Proactively mitigate legal, financial, or operational risks by staying informed on employment law developments and industry best practices.
Identify, track, and analyze key HR metrics and analytics, utilizing data to guide staffing, training, and retention strategies and inform leadership decisions.
Drive continuous improvement in HR processes by monitoring feedback, leveraging benchmarks, and implementing HRIS enhancements or new solutions.
Lead contract negotiations, implementations, and ongoing relationships with external vendors for HR services.
Plan and execute cross-functional HR projects from concept to delivery, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget while fostering stakeholder buy-in and smooth transitions.
Assist in drafting and managing the HR operational budget, supporting strategic initiatives and resource allocation.
Support succession planning and development programs, such as Manager in Training, to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and legislative changes to ensure the company remains current and compliant.
Performs other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HR management role.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or a related field preferred.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
Solid time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
HR Operations experience in a growing retail organization with a nationwide presence preferred.
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
