POSITION OVERVIEW
The Finance and Tax Manager will be responsible for the correct accounting of the financial day-to-day operations as per US GAAP, internal & external reporting and all Tax matters of Fracht FWO Inc and its incorporated legal entities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately record and maintain financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies, guidelines and financial protocols as well as reporting and audit requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.
- Ascertain to produce, analyze and present accurate, transparent and timely financial information.
- Ensure monthly compilation, reporting and distribution of reliable Profit & Loss and Cash Flow Statements as well as Balance Sheets.
- Conducting the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, including Income and Franchise Tax, Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax, and demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and multi-state tax matters.
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of annual budgets.
- Support external & internal financial audits/reviews and provide all parties involved with the required information accordingly.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective communication and compliance.
- Identify financial process improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of financial principles, all layers of US Federal, State and local Tax, regulations and best practices.
- Experience with financial management systems, ERP platforms and business intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change initiatives effectively.
- High integrity, ethical conduct, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance.
- CPA or another higher degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Tax or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 4 years in financial accounting & reporting roles, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Safely and successfully performs the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged period of time in office environment, desk setting
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
