About the Role:
As a Database Security Administrator III, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of data within our databases. You will provide technical support for the database environment, manage database authorization, assess and implement new technologies, and offer insights on the relationship between database technology and business opportunities.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee Security Posture: Manage the security of DB2, SQL Server, PostGres, Azure Databases, Azure Data Lakes, and Snowflake environments.
- Auditory Requirements: Partner with internal and external auditors to fulfill auditory requirements and documentation.
- Password Management: Implement technologies to manage and automate password rotations.
- Compliance: Ensure SOX compliance on identified databases.
- Service Now Management: Handle Service Now Request and Change tickets.
- Change Advisory Board: Attend weekly Change Advisory Board meetings.
- Collaboration: Work with business units and IT teams to secure approvals and manage least privilege principles.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
- 7+ years of IT experience.
- 5+ years of Microsoft SQL experience with an emphasis on database security authorization.
- Understanding of and experience with relational database environments.
- Experience in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DB2 on Windows, Service Now, Azure storage and database platforms, Snowflake administration, CyberArk, Guardium, and Microsoft DevOps.

- Location: Greenville, SC
Position Type:
- Full-Time Contract to Hire: Requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel:
- Up to 10% Travel: Travel required for this position.
