The Consumer Growth Engine & Integrated Marketing (CGE/IM) Team is seeking an Executive Business Administrator (EBA) to support the VP of CGE/IM and assist with other team needs, including calendar management for General Managers within the team. CGE/IM is a fun, fast-paced, and exciting organization at Microsoft, there is always something happening! The Executive Business Administrator will report to the VP of CGE/IM within the Consumer Marketing Organization.

This role requires communication & collaboration skills, proficient organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, strength in navigating and juggling multiple priorities, and discretion in handling confidential information. Respect, inclusivity, integrity, and a high level of professionalism dealing with stakeholders inside and outside the organization is extremely important. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete work quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without always having the total picture.

This role has an in-office requirement, in Redmond, WA of 2-3 days per week to match the work patterns of the CGE/IM Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience planning and scheduling events
  • Experience with MS Office and Productivity software including Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel
  • Experience managing and maintaining a complex calendar to ensure accurate scheduling and organization
  • Experience coordinating travel, including on-the-ground logistics
  • Experience with MyOrder for the creation & management of Purchase Orders or simliar
  • Experience coordinating scheduling and logistics of team meetings, All-Hands, events and offsites, including venue selection, meeting details, and material preparation
  • Experience providing team support, including headcount management, budget, morale events, distribution management, and other tasks/projects


Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others
  • Experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (events, morale, travel, training, etc)
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and complete projects on time, demonstrate drive and initiative, maintain confidentiality of information
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and able to monitor complex plans and schedules and react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turn around
  • Able to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships internally and externally with varying levels of collaborators and accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals and groups
  • Experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, organization, time management, and communication skills
  • Thrive in a global team environment, building effective cross-group relationships at all organizational levels
  • Exercise professionalism, integrity, and tact, especially with confidential information
Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $28.46 - $48.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $39.76 - $55.67 per hour.
