Audubon is currently seeking a Technology Development Manager to join our team in the Midwest Region. The Technology Development Manager will be accountable for the overall direction, creation, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of technology designed for material tracking of pipeline projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages the overall execution of Projects.
  • Assist IT with Deployment of Various GIS Software/Configuration of User Profiles.
  • Troubleshooting with End Users.
  • Understand, Implement, and Improve Current Audubon Workflows.
  • Assist with Large Scale Automation of Tasks and Reports (Mass Updates/Ingesting AGOL Data from SQL).
  • Conversions of Legacy Data (Client Provided) to Proper Formats (AIM).
  • Configuration of Templates, Blocks, and Support Files.
  • Development of Improved Workflows.
  • Development of Cross-Discipline Workflows.
  • Possess excellent analytical problem-solving skills to solve both simple and complex problems.
  • Communicate and influence effectively using excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contacts of various levels.
  • Reliably take personal responsibility and hold others accountable for performing quality work in a timely manner.
  • Collect, analyze, and present data to all levels of leadership.
  • Provide reporting metrics to show how the overall project and various functional areas are performing.
  • Work to create partnerships, promoting teamwork within and across groups.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and remains accessible to client during life of project.
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
  • Effectively applies Audubon methodology and enforces project standards.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education Required: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree OR 7+ years' of Relative Experience.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS applied to electric/gas facility management, such as design construction, network analysis, and integration with other systems.
  • Proficiency in the following computer language's Python Java, Java Script, C, SQL and HTML/CSS.
  • Proven implementation experience, preferably for GIS/IT enterprise solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop project designs.
  • Familiarity for RDBMS and geodatabase designs.
  • Familiarity with mobile applications for data collection.
  • Familiarity with the integration of ArcGIS and AGOL with work management and document management systems.
  • Strong data analytical skills and desire to work with data. Ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify discrepancies and implement solutions.
  • Collection of skills across Data Visualization (Power BI).
  • Database experience (Access, SQL, etc.).
  • Adept at utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Power Points). Advanced Excel proficiency required.
  • Understanding of all applicable discipline deliverables.
