Job Description

Summary:

Responsible for overall facilities operations for multiple facilities and offsite locations. Has direct responsibility for all maintenance, repair and construction activities relating to the physical plant and grounds. Develops annual operating and plant capital budgets and monitors budget performance develops plans of correction to address budget variances. Ensures facility are in continuous compliance with the regulatory requirements established by CMS, NYSDOH, DNV, EPA, DEC, OSHA, FGI, NFPA and other applicable Federal, State, and local authorities having jurisdiction. Ensures the facilities department has the proper processes, and adequate resources in place to properly maintain Kaleida Health's buildings and grounds providing a safe, efficient, and reliable environment that supports the current and future needs of our clinical staff and patients.

Education And Credentials

Responsibilities:

High School Diploma or GED Required. Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Facilities Management (see experience section if no BS) Preferred. Commerical Driver's License is required. Chief Stationary Engineers City of Buffalo required.

Experience

Other information:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Plant operations management in a health care setting. 10 years of experience in Plant operations management in a health care setting (if no bachelor's degree).

*Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
