Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

License: Kansas State RRT license prior to submission
Certifications: BLS
Must-Have: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Job Description:
- Care for approximately 84 adult ICU beds, 15-bed PICU, and 83-bed Level 3 NICU in a Level 1 trauma facility.
- Work with a department of approximately 120 staff, with 25 day shift RTs and 18 night shift RTs during peak seasons.
- Operate equipment including Puritan Bennett 840 and 980 ventilators in the adult ICU, and Servo I ventilators in the PICU.
- Utilize non-invasive equipment like V60 BiPAP machines, Focus, Remstar Auto titrate CPAP, Heated High Flow Nasal Cannula, Aerobika, BAN nebulizer, and EzPAP.
- Maintain electronic medical records using Meditech.
- Attend all Level 1 and Level 2 traumas, Code Blues, and Rapid Responses.
- Transport ICU ventilated patients for CT scans and MRI.
- Assist with tracheostomy and PEG procedures at the bedside in the ICU.
- Collaborate with physicians and exhibit flexibility, dynamism, confidence, and a positive attitude.

- Participate in a collaborative environment with opportunities for continuous learning and skill enhancement.
