ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an attorney with 10 or more years of experience in advising clients or engaging in policymaking related to healthcare billing and reimbursement requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/Tricare. The candidate should also be well-versed in federal fraud and abuse laws, such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, and the False Claims Act.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of guiding various healthcare entities, including physicians, hospitals, academic medical centers (AMCs), home health agencies, and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), on matters related to billing and reimbursement, enrollment and claims submission processes, and structuring business relationships to ensure compliance with applicable Stark, kickback and fraud and abuse laws.

Experience with private payors is considered an additional advantage.
