We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager/Estimator to join Visentry, one of our entities located at 25 Rockwood Place, Englewood, NJ 07631. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and success.
Visentry was founded by two security services experts with more than 50 years of combined experience addressing the needs of businesses and government for effective and cost-efficient services for perimeter, asset, data and critical infrastructure protection. With Visentry, they have introduced a unique and groundbreaking service, remote guarding, which delivers around-the-dock, real-time remote video monitoring and response. Visentry integrates 'intelligent ' digital video technology with the most comprehensive central monitoring software available today, delivered on an application Service Provider (ASP) platform that is protected by redundancy and related fail-safe mechanisms.
The Project Manager/Estimator will lead the execution of low-voltage scopes for various projects, including cabling, security systems, CCTV, IP cameras, VMS, access control, intercoms, and more. This role requires exceptional organizational and leadership skills to manage technicians, subcontractors, and client relationships, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

In addition to the above, the following are the duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager/Estimator:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Planning & Management:
- Develop and execute project schedules, preliminary designs, and job expectations.
- Attend bid meetings, walkthroughs, pre-construction meetings, and job site meetings.
- Coordinate with General Contractors, Owners, and other trades for logistics and project requirements.
- Manage project resources, including technicians and subcontractors.
Client Relations & Communication:
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction by resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide regular project updates to clients and internal teams.
- Adapt to varying client needs and environments.
Bidding & Estimations:
- Analyze bid documents, plans, and specifications; prepare and review proposals.
- Follow up on open bids and analyze lost bids for improvement.
- Maintain an average win rate of 30% on bids.
Execution & Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and job safety practices.
- Monitor job progress and costs, ensuring projects remain on schedule and budget.
- Oversee closeout documentation and warranty completion.
Technical Expertise:
- Work on cabling, CCTV, access control, intercoms, VoIP systems, and more.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and accurate input for scope changes.
- Order project materials and coordinate timely delivery with field personnel.
Required Education, Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience managing low-voltage and security projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry standards and low-voltage systems.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to manage teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must pass a drug and background screening
Critical Requirements
- Experience leading technicians to achieve project goals within budget and on time.
- Knowledge of job safety practices and installation standards for the security industry.
- Ability to analyze job costing reports and provide accurate estimations for added scopes.
