Job Summary:
Inside a team of fully dedicated AI software you will perform research, analysis, development, and validation of State-Of-The-Art AI-based algorithms for integration into Teledyne's Astrocyte software for usage in the field of industrial vision.

Au sein d'une quipe entirement ddie aux logiciels d'IA, vous effectuerez de la recherche, des analyses, du dveloppement et de la validation d'algorithmes d'IA de pointe pour leur intgration dans le logiciel Astrocyte de Teledyne, destin tre utilis dans le domaine de la vision industrielle.
Principales tches et responsabilits :
Sous la supervision du chef de projet, vos principales tches consisteront :
Rechercher, analyser et exprimenter les algorithmes rcents dans la communaut de dveloppement de l'IA
Dvelopper et intgrer de nouveaux algorithmes sous la plateforme d'IA (Astrocyte)
Amliorer, maintenir et dpanner les algorithmes existants
crire et maintenir des fonctions de tests unitaires et de tests systme
Assister occasionnellement des vnements scientifiques sur l'IA
Contribuer au dveloppement d'autres composants de l'cosystme d'IA de l'quipe d'IA de Montral.
Le candidat idal intgre rapidement de nouvelles connaissances, fait preuve d'initiative et d'autonomie, et est capable de cooprer efficacement au sein d'une quipe pluridisciplinaire.
Qualifications requises :
Obligatoires :
Maitrise ou doctorat en intelligence artificielle
Exprience en programmation avec le langage Python
Exprience en programmation sur un systme d'exploitation Linux
Solide connaissance des paradigmes de la science des donnes et de l'apprentissage automatique
Connaissance d'un " framework " d'IA tel que PyTorch ou TensorFlow
Franais et anglais crits et parls
Recommandes :
Exprience en programmation avec le langage C/C++
Exprience en programmation intgre

Job Summary:
Inside a team of fully dedicated AI software you will perform research, analysis, development, and validation of State-Of-The-Art AI-based algorithms for integration into Teledyne's Astrocyte software for usage in the field of industrial vision.

Under the supervision of the project manager, your main tasks will consist of:
- Research, analyze, and experiment recent algorithms in AI development community
- Develop and integrate new algorithms in AI platform (Astrocyte)
- Improve, maintain, and troubleshoot existing algorithms
- Write and maintain unit-test and system-test functions
- Occasionally attend scientific AI events
- Contribute to the development of other components of the AI ecosystem in the Montreal AI team.

Job Qualifications:
Mandatory:
- Master or PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence
- Programming experience with Python language
- Programming experience on a Linux OS
- Strong knowledge of data science and machine learning paradigms
- Knowledge of one AI framework such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Written and spoken French and English
Recommended:
- Programming experience with C/C++ language
- Experience in Embedded Programming
