THE OPPORTUNITY

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will serve as a liaison and finance business partner to senior stakeholders across the organization. This role will be supporting business units within the Global Investing organization and, as such, will be responsible for and involved in both revenue and expense forecasting/reporting. As a manager, the role is also broadly charged with advancing existing reporting capabilities and processes, working collaboratively across the organization to solve problems and helping to drive process improvement and standardization within the FP&A team.

This position will work closely with the Director, FP&A and will be supporting other highly visible, firmwide reporting initiatives beyond the scope of traditional stakeholder support. Examples include firmwide financial reporting, multi-variable scenario analyses and data visualization other ad-hoc financial reporting requests.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as finance partner to Business Unit COOs and Business Development leaders to drive and inform the revenue forecasting process for each revenue generating Practice
Provide standard monthly reporting and proactively evolve deliverables to meet developing needs of the business; includes enhancing existing financial reporting and creating dynamic dashboards
Partner with stakeholders as questions arise to deliver business case modeling, strategic decision support, measure performance and provide support on ad hoc requests
Support firmwide reporting initiatives with contribution to board reporting, executive level firmwide financial reporting and other firmwide scenario analyses as part of cross-functional work
Leverage existing financial system infrastructure to help further standardize, automate and improve the revenue forecasting, reporting and analysis
Partner with the General Ledger and Accounting teams to coordinate monthly close and ensure all accruals are properly booked and reflected in monthly reporting
Assume a critical role in the annual budgeting and multi-year planning processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
7 years of FP&A or Financial Reporting experience
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or similar discipline required
MBA preferred, but not required
Experience supporting, presenting to and interacting with senior leadership
Experienced with financial reporting / planning systems (Oracle preferred)
Advanced Excel & PowerPoint capabilities required
Experience converting data into consumable charts/visuals for senior leadership
Experience facilitating Forecasting, Budgeting and Multi-Year Planning efforts
Experience building out financial dashboards and KPI reporting
Experience with revenue forecasting preferred and familiarity with CRM/Sales programs a plus
Strong preference for experience in Investment Management, Global Financial Services or Professional Services
