ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in Benefits.
- In-depth knowledge of benefits practices, regulations, and market trends.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ADP experience preferred
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders; consultative and collaborative style that allows for influence without authority
- Technologically Proficient, especially with Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
- Manage end-to-end benefits administration including maintaining benefits invoicing, internal audits, open enrollment, benefits, wellness-related communications, and hosting new hire benefit orientation.
- Monitoring benefits costs to ensure they remain within budget guidelines.
- Advises and informs employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions and counsel employees regarding benefit programs and the plan coverage.
- Serve as 401k plan administrator (day-to-day oversight of plan activities), main point of contact for annual 401k audit, and 5500 filing, enrollment communications.
- Oversee legacy pension plan administration.
- Stay informed about industry trends and legislative changes to ensure the company's benefits offerings remain competitive and compliant.
General:
- Conduct research on employee satisfaction and provide solutions to drive engagement.
- Responsible for managing vendor relationships with brokers, insurance companies, record-keepers, actuaries, service providers.
- Support with M&A work, which includes due diligence, day one readiness and integration.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Communicate effectively with employees about compensation and benefits programs, providing education and guidance as needed.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management.
