Job duties

- Responsible for managing staff, including hiring, goal setting, planning and delegation of work, training and development, coaching/mentoring and completing performance evaluations.
- Responsible for leading a team of Enterprise Architects and other staff in the creation and usage of an Enterprise Architecture capability that establishes the future state architecture vision for Citizens.
- Establish and maintain strategies and road maps to ensure architecture domains are aligned to support the achievement of key goals. Participate in enterprise architecture development, including business architecture, information architecture, technology architecture, systems architecture, and security architecture.
- Manage and oversee technologies and staff involved with ongoing maturity of the Enterprise Architecture Tool, EA Repository, and EA portal site. Ensure quality, completeness and business value of these EA solutions.
- Improve and manage EA governance processes associated with software, technology, architecture blueprints, and data. Assure compliance and govern exception process for nonconformance's. Manage Citizens' System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Framework.
- Evolve the Enterprise Architecture program through effective metric tracking and analysis. Continually improve quality of the EA metrics dashboard and ensure timely collection and publication of the metrics.
- Improve, manage and execute the EA communication plan. Ensure effective communication of IT Strategies, architecture plans, and EA governance results.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Expert level knowledge of enterprise architecture.
- Lead multi-disciplined, high-performance work teams.
- Expert level understanding and knowledge of a wide range of enterprise technologies: Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, Information, Integrations and application development.
- Exposure to multiple diverse technologies.
- System integration experience and interface design.
- IT Delivery methods.
- Data-modeling and information classification expertise.
- Agile and System Development Life Cycle.
- Broad view across IT discipline.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in IT.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Presentation and facilitation skills.
- Driven, self-taught and work independently; Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a collaborative team environment, respond to project and customer needs, and work under very tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work well within cross-functional IT and Business teams.
- Ability to assess rapidly changing technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education
- High School Diploma | GED (required)
- Bachelor's Degree OR 3 years relevant experience, OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 3 years
Preferred:
- Experience or familiarity w/ at least one EA Frameworks/Methodologies like TOGAF/Zachman
- Experience or Certification in SAFE.
- Knowledge of experience in Property & Casualty insurance Industry
