As the Head of Sourcing and SOP, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of Sales and Operations Planning from demand planning to sourcing components and ensuring product quality and efficiency. You will lead the sourcing strategy for various cooling solutions, including Active Coolers, Passive Coolers, Hydration Systems, and Soft Sides, to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, demand planning, supply chain management, and operational excellence within a consumer goods or hardware-focused industry. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in this role.
Your main responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Develop and Implement supply chain strategies to maximize efficiency and cost benefit
Manage the divisions' projects to move to a more sustainable supply chain organization including:
Sourcing & Procurement Management:
Lead sourcing strategies for Active Coolers, Passive Coolers, Hydration Systems, and Soft Sides, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors across global and local markets.
Manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and agreements to optimize cost, quality, and lead times.
Continuously assess and identify opportunities for supplier diversification, risk mitigation, and quality improvement.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Develop, implement, and continually improve SOPs for sourcing, product quality control, and operational efficiency across the mobile cooling product range.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to align sourcing strategies with product development requirements.
Establish and ensure compliance with quality control standards, ensuring all products meet regulatory and internal specifications.
Product sourcing Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the sourcing and manufacturing of components throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery.
Collaborate with the R&D and product development teams to ensure new product designs align with sourcing capabilities and cost objectives.
Provide strategic oversight for inventory management, ensuring product availability aligns with demand forecasts and market trends.
Demand Planning and Inventory Management
Drive the forecast process based on global demand leveraging sell through data and market conditions to ensure an accurate consensus forecast.
Manage inventory levels to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
Cross functional collaboration to ensure delivery to the customer remains at a high level
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and manage a team of sourcing specialists, operations professionals, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of SOPs and sourcing strategies.
Act as a key cross-functional liaison with departments such as logistics, supply chain, finance, and sales to align goals and drive efficiency across the company.
Provide mentorship and professional development to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in Supply Chain or Sourcing Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in sourcing, demand planning, supply chain, or procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in managing mobile cooling products (Active Coolers, Passive Coolers, Hydration Systems, or similar consumer goods) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing SOPs and optimizing product sourcing processes.
