As we continue to grow, we are seeking a National Vice President of Sales to drive our distribution and field services strategy, ensuring long-term success and market expansion.

Position Overview:

The Vice President of Sales will lead and execute the sales strategy for our $100M organization within the distribution and field services sector of the aquatics industry. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for revenue growth, market expansion, and building a high-performing national sales team. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven leader with a strong background in sales leadership, team development, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Identify new markets, revenue streams, and growth opportunities to drive business expansion.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales objectives with company strategy.

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:
  • Lead sales initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Drive new client acquisition while expanding partnerships with existing customers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.

Team Leadership & Development:
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing national sales team.
  • Develop training programs and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics to track and optimize sales success.

Customer & Partner Relationships:
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing solutions that enhance customer success.
  • Address customer concerns and drive strategies for improved customer experience.

Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales strategies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Industry Representation:
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in distribution, field services, or related industries.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a $50M+ organization.
  • Strong leadership experience managing geographically dispersed sales teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales analytics, and forecasting tools.
