JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, Technical Management will lead the IT Architecture team and play a pivotal role in embedding technical expertise into the IT Project Management Office (PMO). This position will ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals while providing governance, oversight, and strategic direction for enterprise architecture initiatives. The role also involves overseeing the development, design, and implementation of technical architecture to meet strategic business requirements, ensuring the successful adoption of new technologies critical to the success of Norwegian Cruise Lines and Holdings (NCLH).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability and establish clear goals and performance metrics for the team to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Partner with the Sr. Director, IT PMO & Governance, to integrate architecture into PMO processes, ensuring technical considerations are embedded in project planning and execution.
- Provide technical expertise to support enterprise-level initiatives and ensure alignment with business strategy and IT standards.
- Develop and maintain architectural standards, principles, and guidelines to ensure consistency across IT projects.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of architectural documentation, ensuring clear communication of technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the architecture team and PMO to optimize processes and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT Infrastructure, Application Development, and Business Units, to ensure architectural solutions meet organizational needs.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the IT PMO and other departments, ensuring alignment on technical deliverables and milestones.
- Provide hands-on guidance and support for complex technical projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise goals.
- Participate in project reviews to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with architectural standards.
- Forecast resource utilization and capacity; establish a planning process to anticipate project timelines and identify resource needs.
- Evaluate completed projects to identify variations from established processes and recommend architectural and process improvements.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT architecture, technical management, or related roles.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing enterprise-level architecture initiatives.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, application development, and cloud technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
