Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $113,108.00 to $162,593.00 annually. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Essential Functions
- Design and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational goals, ensuring consistency across all sites
- Develop, customize, and deliver engaging training materials, ensuring they are relevant, practical, and effective for adult learners
- Lead team-building initiatives that enhance collaboration, communication, and overall team performance
- Facilitate hands-on, interactive learning experiences that encourage participation and application of knowledge
- Develop leadership programs to support the growth of high-potential employees and emerging leaders within the organization
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, department heads, and other stakeholders to assess training needs and tailor programs accordingly, ensuring training initiatives meet team-specific objectives and align with broader business strategies
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring the effectiveness of programs by gathering feedback, tracking progress, and continuously improving content
- Support compliance with industry regulations through training on safety protocols and other mandatory requirements, particularly as they relate to a food manufacturing environment
- Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
- Bachelor's degree in learning and development, human resources, organizational development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Certification in instructional design, team building, or adult learning methodologies (e.g., CPLP, ATD, SHRM)
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in learning and development with demonstrated success engaging adult learners
- Multi-site training experience with an emphasis on ensuring consistency and quality across diverse locations
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred; experience in food manufacturing desired
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement frameworks preferred
- Proven track record developing content, facilitating experiential learning, and implementing training programs that resonate across diverse audiences, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment
- Experience leveraging digital tools to enhance learning, including e-learning platforms and virtual training environments; familiarity with modern learning management systems (LMS)
- Strong facilitation skills, particularly in team-building and leadership development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
