Description:

This role will be hybrid 2 - 3 days in office and applicants must be in a commutable distance to Midtown Manhattan, Dallas TX or Chicago IL locations.

  • Implementation and support duties for Eze Castle Integration tools
  • Gather monitoring requirements, define and configures alert thresholds, and ensure proper notifications for events are being received by appropriate teams to assist various technical teams
  • Develop dashboards and reports from information collected by the monitoring system, correlate and provide users with a meaningful interpretation of the information. Follows up with states agents regarding account issues
  • Work with network and administration teams to ensure new systems are built and deployed with proper configuration for monitoring
  • Create and maintain monitoring scripts to automate common tasks
  • Create and maintains documentation and procedures
  • Plan and define complex monitoring requirements and customizations
  • Customize Eze Castle Integration Tools to provide monitoring and alerts for numerous applications in the production and pre-production environments
  • Continuously look at and evaluate the integrity of Eze Castle Integration Tools
  • Provide sales and pre-sales support to prospective and existing clients including participating in onsite and remote sales demos
  • Escalation point for Eze Castle Integration Tools related infrastructure and provisioning issues
  • Continuously meet with network/systems lead engineers to constantly monitor and improve on alarm console alarm methodology
  • Proactively look for opportunities to streamline the processes and implement process improvements to help the team members effectively execute their tasks
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause determination efforts and proactively identify opportunities to fix issues
  • Continuously update documentation related to Eze Castle integration Tools infrastructure and processes
  • To continuously improve on their knowledge around information security as it relates to their job and identifying and preventing phishing attempts


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience
  • At least 2-4 years of hands on experience as designer/engineer/architect for Remote Monitoring and Management Tools
  • At least 2 years of hands on experience with routers, firewalls, routing, segmented networks, and remote site connectivity
  • Strong analytical ability, judgment, and problem-solving techniques with attention to detail
  • Understanding and experience with SNMP, including Trap Mapping and MIB development
  • Training and experience supporting network/system devices and technologies
  • Understanding and experience with Data Center technologies
  • Understanding and experience with Systems (Windows, Linux, Cloud environment, Virtualization, Storage Exchange, Active directory)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to understand client and management expectations and to resolve issues that may affect delivery
  • Strong ability to mentor, coach, and train engineers
  • Strong ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones
  • Strong ability to distribute tasks between the team members and coordinate the tasks towards successful completion
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality solutions
  • Remain vigilant while continuing to maintain and enhance the overall security of Eze Castle Integration and the client's receiving our services.
  • Maintain awareness about the potential risks based on the environment they are operating in and the clients they are working on


Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in an independent environment with moderate supervision
  • Ability to work under a moderate noise level (i.e. working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers)
  • Ability to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary
  • Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to multiple work pressures
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components
