Why We Need This Role
The Senior Business Analyst will elevate Imagen's DPMS expertise to enable our practice teams to provide the best patient care and ensure our support teams have accurate data and analytics. This is achieved through consistent use of our dental practice management system (DPMS) at the practice level, validation of data (i.e. definitions, calculations) in our data warehouse, implementation of standards and controls related to insurance billing and treatment codes, and execution of a DPMS migration strategy.
This is a hybrid role based in the Phoenix/Scottsdale are and requiring 3-4 days per week in office.

Responsibilities
Implementation Management & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional programs related to DPMS implementation and optimization across multiple business units.
- Collaborate with PMO, Technology, RCM (Revenue Cycle Management), Accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Define success metrics and conduct post-migration evaluations.
- Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans for system migrations and process improvements.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, defined objectives, and measurable outcomes. Build champions across the user community to drive successful change management and adoption by providing guidance and support.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to foster knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.
Data Validation & Governance
- Partner with functional teams (RCM, Practice Growth, Accounting, etc.) to create and refine data validation processes and criteria.
- Leverage automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy of data validation.
- Establish standardized data definitions and reporting frameworks to improve data integrity and usability.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Work with data and analytics teams to ensure data lineage, traceability, and integrity.
DPMS Best Practices & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as a subject matter expert for DPMS migration and optimization.
- Establish and promote best practices for DPMS usage across various functions.
- Partner with Technology, Practice Growth, RCM, and other departments to develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Recommend enhancements to operational performance as benchmarked against industry best practices.
- Oversee governance, reporting, and change management processes to support operational excellence.
Qualifications
Experience You'll Have
- 8+ years of experience in process roles (process design, process mapping, root cause analysis, establishing business controls and control plans).
- 5+ years of experience in technical analysis, system optimization, and implementation.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders across departments.
- Extensive experience partnering with business leaders to implement data and process improvements.
- Strong project management experience, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Expertise with Denticon (required). Experience with Dentrix Core, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental software a plus.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data interpretation.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards in healthcare or dental practices.
