What You'll Do:

As a Business Intelligence Developer II, you will be part of a team responsible for owning, developing & maintaining our Enterprise Analytics Applications specifically within the PowerBI environment. This role works as a Product Owner for these applications engaging, training & working with end users to ensure our products are producing desired results and driving value for the organization.
Develop & Support Analytics Dashboards Independently
Engages in a team environment and completes well-defined tasks to support team goals
Act as a liaison between End Stakeholders & Data Engineering teams
Analyze information to determine appropriate response
Contributes routinely to documentation
Identifying process & continuous improvement though utilization of Analytics Tools
Driver End User Culture change & engagement with Analytics
Assist in Refining a Backlog & User Stories
Migrate from legacy customer systems to a robust cloud environment
Partner with respective Data Engineering & Data Science teams to help automate and refine applications
Interacting and understanding of the Domain Business Process
Translate data to a clear & effective story

What We're Looking For:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline from a four-year college or university.
  • Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.


Experience
3+ years of experience
Experience contributing to a Data Dictionary, Canonical Data Model or Code/Product Documentation
Supply Chain or Logistics Knowledge (Transportation a plus)

Qualifications
Basic MS SQL and/or SnowSQL Knowledge
Python/R knowledge preferred
Proficient with SQL Server Reporting Services and Data Visualization Tool (PowerBI a plus)
Knowledge of Data Engineering/Modeling Processes, Agile/Lean processes and SQL DBA work or Snowflake DBA
Advanced in MS Office Products
Proactive thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Data Visualization Online/Server Environments
Ability to identify and resolve systems problems and work and deliver results in assigned timeframes
Ability to develop strong business knowledge with assigned areas
