SUMMARY
CRF's Center for Education (CED) is seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Director of Business Development and Industry Relations to lead revenue generation efforts through sponsorships, exhibits, satellite programs, training workshops, and educational grants. This critical role supports CED's mission by fostering innovation, building high-value partnerships, and driving sustainable growth.

COMPENSATION
The hiring range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000 per year. The annual salary that will ultimately be offered to the successful candidate will depend on job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Generation and Business Development
- Lead efforts to secure revenue through sponsorships, exhibits, satellite programs, training workshops, and educational grants for CRF conferences.
- Collaborate with industry partners to design tailored sponsorships, exhibits, and training programs that align with client objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners to ensure consistent and sustainable revenue growth.
- Identify and act on emerging trends to position CRF as a leader in industry relations and education.
Budget Management and Revenue Tracking
- Provide annual revenue projections and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain and track the department's budget weekly, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.
- Monitor revenue performance, addressing gaps and opportunities to meet or exceed targets.
Innovative Growth and Strategic Vision
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities beyond existing offerings to expand revenue streams.
- Develop and execute innovative business models that align with organizational goals and industry trends.
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate new initiatives into CRF's long-term strategic vision.
Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and leaders.
- Represent CRF at national and international conferences, events, and meetings to enhance visibility and build strategic partnerships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major sponsors, ensuring long-term collaboration and satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Departmental Oversight
- Oversee departmental performance to ensure efficient operations and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Provide visionary leadership, mentorship, and coaching to foster a collaborative, innovative team culture.
- Monitor performance metrics, implement improvements, and support professional development.
- Recognize achievements and address challenges to maintain a high-performing work environment.
Sales and Collateral Development
- Oversee the creation and refinement of sales materials, including innovative prospectuses, to effectively communicate CRF's value to prospective partners.
- Ensure materials reflect CRF's mission and deliver compelling sponsorship opportunities.
- Lead tailored presentations and proposals to prospective sponsors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Education
- A bold, visionary leader with a proven track record of achieving transformative growth through partnerships, sponsorship sales, and team leadership.
- 8-10 years of experience in partnership fundraising, sponsorship procurement, marketing, or business development.
- Proven ability to manage complex partnerships in national and international organizations.
- Exceptional creativity, relationship-building skills, and strategic acumen.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally.
