Description:
The Sr. Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and cultivate relationships with candidates, hiring managers, team members, and business partners to fill positions with the top talent.
- Source and identify qualified candidates through targeted searches (LinkedIn, Indeed.com, PGA, etc.), with an emphasis on upholding PXG values.
- Communicate with hiring managers to understand their current and upcoming hiring needs.
- Generate candidate flow through a variety of sourcing methods.
- Process paperwork regarding onboarding and dispositioning candidates promptly and with a high level of accuracy.
- Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, screening criteria, and interview questions.
- Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, including prescreening, scheduling interviews, providing feedback, making job offers, and ensuring an overall positive candidate experience.
- Appropriately maintain and track candidates in applicant tracking system and provide data/reports as requested.
- Participate in industry events, job fairs, and other recruiting activities, as needed.
- Solid understanding of company pre-employment assessments and ability to test candidates and educate hiring teams of results.
- Enhance and level up the recruitment process, to stay aligned with industry trends, attract top talent.
- Other tasks may be assigned as required.
Job Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of recruiting tools and techniques, including job boards, social media, and candidate sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing through LinkedIn.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Job Skills Preferred:
- ADP Applicant Tracking experience preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and external vendors.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruiting projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative and execution.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent years of experience.
Certifications:
- Certified Internet Recruiter certification or SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume corporate recruiting.
Travel:
- Ability to travel on occasion if needed to retail locations and/or recruitment events.
