We are renowned for our creative and innovative enrichment classes, preschool, state-of-the-art indoor gyms, day camps, birthday celebrations, and special events.
The Head of School is a key leadership role, overseeing all aspects of their location and ensuring the ongoing success and day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the Director is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and program standards, managing a team, and building a strong sense of community. The Director has a strong understanding of the sales and enrollment process and excels at generating client leads, building relationships, and completing the admissions process.

Schedule: Full Time & Year Round, M-F 8:00 - 6:00 core hours, also some weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy: Lead your location in achieving key metrics: enrollment, retention, customer service, program quality, compliance, and productivity.
- Performance & Profitability: Oversee the day-to-day operations of your location, analyze district trends, and boost engagement and growth. Plan class offerings, schedule flow, and transition times. Support in creating semester scheduling, class offerings, and program development.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure programs meet brand standards, offering children a fun, safe learning environment. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service.
- Team Development & Management: Manage staff schedules and ensure proper staffing onsite for all programming. Coach and mentor your team to performance at their highest level through 1:1 check-ins, performance review meetings, and observations. Foster trust and rapport with your team, emphasizing staff retention through career advancement and positive internal referrals.
- Community Engagement: Focus on generating leads and building relationships by calling on existing and potential customers and fostering open communication. Develop and implement strategic sales plans. Engage prospective families through in-person tours while showcasing the benefits of our programs. Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to handle objections or offer programming suggestions.
- Innovation: Continually seek fresh strategies to enhance performance and district growth.
- Compliance: Guarantee your location aligns with DOHMH/DOE regulations. Ensure site safety and maintenance, including fire alarm checks. Ensure team member compliance and conduct monthly drills. Prepare for facility inspections and send out monthly calendars. Conduct team meetings, education meetings, and train new hires. Address behavior, separation, and children's needs as required.

Requirements
This job is for you if:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience required .
- NY state teaching certification in early childhood education (birth-2) or special education (birth-2) required .
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership position.
- Experience in a similar sales or enrollment focused role.
- Experience with NY DOH licensing compliance, article 47 preferred .
- Results oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic early childhood environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
- Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
