IT Advisory and Consulting (ITAC) Senior with BI Experience

PYA is seeking an IT Advisory and Consulting (ITAC) Senior Consultant to join its high-performing and privately-owned firm with a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation. This individual will be a member of the Technology program supporting PYA's Consulting Department.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver IT advisory services, with a focus on healthcare IT compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations such as HIPAA, NIST, and ISO standards
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard patient data and IT systems to include assisting with creating and refining IT security policies, incident response plans, and compliance frameworks tailored to the unique needs of healthcare providers and organizations
• Provide consulting and project management expertise with PYA colleagues, ensuring that IT solutions for PYA clients meet both technical and compliance-related needs
• Assist with designing and implementing data analytics solutions using tools like Power BI to create interactive dashboards and models, analyze diverse healthcare datasets (e.g., claims data), and uncover insights to support business decision-making and operational improvements for PYA clients
• Assist with the optimization of data processes, including data flow management, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure dashboards and reports align with business needs and comply with healthcare IT standards and regulatory frameworks

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT advisory roles, in a healthcare setting, with a focus on healthcare IT compliance, including HIPAA security, NIST, and ISO standards
• Solid understanding of healthcare IT regulatory requirements and experience in implementing compliance solutions in healthcare environments
• Experience in data analytics and visualization tools, specifically Microsoft Power BI, with experience creating and managing dashboards and reports
• Working knowledge in data manipulation and analysis, including good skills in Microsoft Excel and SQL for query development and data reporting
• Project management experience, with the ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet compliance and business objectives
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to translate complex data and compliance requirements into actionable business insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulate technical and compliance concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A strong passion for leveraging technology and analytics to enhance client outcomes, while ensuring robust compliance with healthcare IT standards
