Responsibilities and Duties:
- Partner on first-year implementations to ensure successful launches and identify potential revenue growth.
- Conduct 3-5 meetings each week, aiming to develop 5-7 new partnerships.
- Cultivate new leads within your territory through outbound prospecting efforts.
- Set up and deliver sales presentations that demonstrate an understanding of customer needs.
- Create proposals that highlight the ESS value proposition relative to district goals.
- Conduct diligent follow-ups with your sales pipeline to ensure pipeline movement.
- Develop a fluid territory plan that illustrates strong territory coverage and a roadmap to goal attainment.
- Work closely with our clinical team to ensure successful partnership launches.
- Maintain detailed records of sales efforts and follow-ups in Salesforce.com.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of educational sales experience or a background in school leadership.
- Proven track record of achieving quotas, particularly in new business development.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the K-12 market, specifically in California.
- Demonstrated success in multi-channeled prospecting approaches.
- High degree of motivation to achieve success and passion for the work.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including some overnight travel.
