Senior Project Manager | Architectural Solutions

Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact with the internal project team, the owner/client, architect, and general contractor for assigned projects, with integrative responsibility from the inception of an awarded project to final close-out and invoicing. Plans, coordinates, and oversees all project management and execution tasks, critical dates, client and third-party interface and relations, customer satisfaction, financial and project administration for each assigned project.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

Client/AccountServicing

  • Single point of contact for the general contractor, architect, and owner for all project communications
  • Professional customer interface and client relations throughout project
  • Attendance of all project team meetings, OAC meetings, and punch/close-out
  • Financial Oversight of the project to maintain profitability
  • Management of the ASI, RFI, and the change Order process


Project Planning, Coordination and Management
  • Establishes overall project scope and manages project schedule to ensure expectations are met.
  • Directs, coordinates and manages task assignments and completion internally and with our installation sub-contractors.
  • Develops work plan, schedule and logistics based on overall project parameters, project schedule and scope, and customer's goals.
  • Reviews project site, plans and product specifications.
  • Field measurements for critical dimensions
  • Site survey and logistics plan for conveyance of materials, staging, and building
  • Technical consultation to client team, and to our installation subcontractors
  • Troubleshooting if issues in the field
  • Single point of contact for, and coordinates with, client and all third-party firms (A&D firm, General Contractor, electrician, low-voltage cabling, building manager, and other trades, client's facility and IT groups, etc.)

Project Administration
  • Maintains detailed project documentation.
  • Timely, formal written communications throughout project to client, internal project team, manufacturers and installation subcontractors
  • Manages accurate and detailed record keeping, including receiving documentation, time sheets and contract adherence, signoffs and approvals, key decision records, etc.

Project Implementation

  • Assists in the preparation of the final installation quote, the development of the final proposal/contract and the profitability of the project.
  • Technical understanding of shop drawings, installation drawings, and product specifications for accuracy, completeness and correct product application
