Delivery Manager

Role: Delivery Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical delivery of Guidewire projects across multiple service offerings and platforms, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand project requirements and offer strategic guidance on technical solutions and delivery approaches.
• Lead a team of professionals, including Guidewire Developers, Guidewire Business Analysts, Guidewire Quality Analysts, Guidewire Solution Architects and Technical Delivery Architects, to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in developing project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to optimize project delivery outcomes.
• Manage all Guidewire audits and prioritize remediation plans accordingly.
• Provide technical expertise in areas such as infrastructure, cloud technologies, virtualization, databases, and storage systems.
• Work closely with Guidewire SMEs to understand complex technical requirements, propose architectural solutions, and contribute to overall system design.
• Collaborate with Change Management and Resource Management teams to align infrastructure projects and manage dependencies effectively.
• Actively participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager implementing the Guidewire Suite, with a strong understanding of the challenges involved and exposure to the product.
• Solid experience in the P&C Insurance industry, specifically specialty lines of business.
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire Suite and associated products
• A degree or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in infrastructure technologies, including cloud platforms, virtualization, operating systems, databases, and storage systems.
• Experience managing and delivering projects involving platform implementation, end-of-life support, and data migration.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles and the ability to contribute to technical solution design and decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead virtual teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
