Summary

The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) along with The Advanced Technology Cores is seeking to fill a faculty position. BCM is located within the Texas Medical Center in Houston, a premier research and clinical environment.

The primary role of this position will be as the Technical Core Director for the Integrated Microscopy Core. This position involves providing analysis, preliminary data, and methodological support while receiving substantial backing to continue delivering bioinformatics services. Additionally, the role will contribute to the preparation and funding of several new center and core grants.

  • Conduct basic scientific research.
  • Contribute to departmental activities/meetings.
  • Publish in research journals.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: PhD-Biological sciences with emphasis in molecular biology and biochemistry and at least 4 years of post-doctoral research training in an academic institution in relevant areas of molecular biology, protein biochemistry, cell signaling, genetic engineering and/or immunology.
