The AVP Corporate Real Estate is responsible for budgeting, managing and coordinating real estate projects, physical security, and imaging and storage for all Delta Community documents. They manage fulfillment teams producing all member mail communication, mailroom and courier deliveries and procurement of corporate supplies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; schematic design, efficient space planning, construction management, relocation logistics, and facility maintenance for all new and existing credit union branches buildings and security systems.

Foster and promote a safety-conscious and hostile-free work environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

Essential Functions:
Assist EVP CFO in developing short-term Corporate Real Estate goals and plans
Develop facilities forecasts and budget in conjunction with EVP CFO
Lead a team that oversees activities necessary in the construction of new branches and facilities, remodeling, and building maintenance
Coordinate activities of architects, contractors, suppliers, and other vendors
Supervise maintenance, repairs, and alterations of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a clean and safe workplace
Member of Business Continuity Committee and responsible for recovery process for physical locations
Oversee all Corporate Real Estate vendor, contractor, and lease contracts
Research vendors to ensure that supplies, equipment, and services are of acceptable quality, competitively priced, and delivered timely
Ensure compliance with legal regulations
Attend and coordinates meetings as required

Job QualificationsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years' professional work in facility management, real estate, construction management, project management or design
Possess a thorough understanding of facilities and security systems
High level of interpersonal communication skills to convey procedures and objectives effectively
Experience in reading site/building plans, mechanical drawings and environmental reports
Ability to review contracts
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include occasional after hours and weekends as necessary
Strong facilitation/presentation skills
Successful candidate should possess the following competencies: Creativity and Innovation, Decision Making, Interactive Communications, Relationship Building, Results Management
Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management or related field
8+ years' professional work experience in facility management, real estate, construction management, project management or design
Experience working in Credit Union or Financial Services industry
