Job Summary
- Working knowledge of NC Machines, lasers, CAD,Tool Design and MBD
- Communicate with shop personnel to assist withproper tool usage and manufacturing procedures with special focus on 5-axislaser scriber
- Develop up-frontmanufacturing plans, conceptual tool designs, and cost estimating
- Define and implement solutions to improvemanufacturing efficiency
- Develop reports, presentations, RCCA's andrework instructions
- Provide a strongtechnical interface with customers and vendors
- Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area
- Performs other duties as assigned including leadingprojects and participation in project committees
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Team leader
- Working knowledge of 5-axis NC machines and set-ups
- Critical thinking skills and good decision-making thought processes
- Proficient in all Microsoft and Outlook programs; highly proficient in Microsoft excel
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills including the ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate among all levelswithin the organization
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in in Engineering or Technical Degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
