Cozen O'Connor's Boston office seeks an Associate to join its Construction Law Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in construction law, along with a strong background handling large litigation/arbitration cases.

Cozen O'Connor's Boston office seeks an Associate to join its Construction Law Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in construction law, along with a strong background handling large litigation/arbitration cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice and representation to project owners and developers, contractors, and design professionals in all stages of construction projects.
- Contract formation/negotiations, project counseling, pre-suit investigation and development/defense of potential claims, and adjudication of claims and disputes in mediation, DRBs, arbitration (domestic and international), and state/federal courts.
- Support a sophisticated practice with opportunities for significant case management and independent client interaction. Representative projects/disputes involve offshore wind, power/energy, infrastructure, and large commercial development projects.
Qualifications:
- Barred in Massachusetts. Preference for candidates that are also barred in either Connecticut, New York, or Rhode Island.
- Excellent academic credentials required.
- Strong legal research, analytical, writing and communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter who can add immediate value to the team.
