Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Product Planning Engineer (On-Site) to join our Golf Car team in Kennesaw, GA. The Product Planning Engineer (On-Site) will ensure the smooth and external customers for applications of Golf Car Accessories. They will take a leadership role in the areas of consumer and competitor research, Quality Function Deployment (QFD) development, analyzing results and ensuring integration of research results into current and future GC accessory plans.

What you'll be doing:
- Develop effective accessory strategies to increase market penetration, sales and profit for the GC product lines.
- Subject matter experts on existing and future accessories.
- Analyze research results, industry trends and the competitive landscape for integration into accessory plans. Effectively manage the total accessory segment for the GC product lines.
- Subject matter expert on existing and future accessories.

- Create customer accessory profiles for specific projects using various sources, including but not limited to, market surveys and event attendance.
- Establish competitive target pricing margins to support CSG's profit targets.
- Collaborate with the Unit Planning and Testing teams as well as Purchasing, QA, Marketing, Sales, and SCM Procurement teams in the GC accessory development process.
- Assist R&D Manager in creating, tracking, and maintaining project timelines.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Research or Statistics or equivalent Product Planning/Development experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience of applicable experience preferably with an emphasis on product management and strategic product planning.
- Experience with taking projects through entire product life cycle, from concept to production and beyond.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience managing small and large projects
- Ability to coordinate work with other team members for successful project execution
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time and priorities
- CAD experience required; SolidWorks preferred.
- Must have experience reading and creating V component drawings and electrical schematics
- Must be able to integrate consumer research into a comprehensive accessory plan.
- Experience with formulating, organizing, performing and analyzing consumer type surveys
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat & Photo Shop.
- Ability to travel domestically and potentially overseas
