- Strong background in Curriculum
- Experience/Knowledge of Career-Technical Education preferred
- Administrative experience required
- Master's Degree in Education or related field
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have Ohio credential for evaluation of teachers/counselors or obtain credential prior to starting position
- Demonstrates the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively and work productively with all district staff, students, parents and the community
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to handle problem situations in a tactful, courteous and respectful manner
Description:
- Provides leadership for the supervision and evaluation of campus staff, including assuming responsibilities for following district guidelines for all observations and evaluations.
- Reviews, monitors and maintains policies and procedures relating to students and student services.
- Provides leadership and administrative responsibilities for personnel management procedures and follows policies regarding personnel management.
- Determines the strengths and needs of the curriculum and instructional program through analysis of student outcome, assessment, enrollment/retention, and other related data points.
- Assists in the coordination, planning, and implementation of professional development opportunities for staff.
- Provides leadership to promote, review and continue improvement of the instructional program on a campus basis to ensure that all programs maintain acceptable performance levels in accordance with district, state and federal standards and expectations.
- Assists instructors in the implementation of research-based instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students and increase student achievement.
- Provides leadership and administrative responsibilities for support and directive services as required to maintain optimum daily campus operation through continued review and improvement.
- Coordinates and facilitates curriculum development and related activities for career technical and academic programs.
- Manages the student discipline process including recommendations for suspensions and expulsions.
- Engages in community leadership groups and participates in related community activities
- Supervises classified and substitute associates.
- Maintains records as appropriate and necessary.
- Demonstrates professionalism in the educational setting as well as in the community.
- Implements district and campus initiatives as related to campus operation.
- Maintains and fosters a collaborative relationship with affiliate school administration.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of technology utilized by the district.
- Must satisfy all job-related attendance requirements.
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
