Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business in Orlando, FL is seeking a skilled Subcontract Manager to join the JASSM Development Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with suppliers and engineering teams to develop and enhance the current product, as well as integrate new capabilities.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement cycle from request for proposal to purchase order closeout. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading cross-functional Subcontract Management Teams
Ability to work recovery plans with supplier management to ensure deliveries meet program requirements.
Requests for proposal, source selection, and purchase order placement
Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and lead times
Manage supplier relationships and performance issues
Control costs and perform price analysis
Maintain the accuracy of purchasing documents and data, including procurement files
Supports and leads cost reduction initiatives, change activity, and program meetings
Comply with all applicable FARS / DFARS and company policies

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
Experience in a program subcontract management role
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Experience establishing relationships with a supplier and managing continuously improved supplier performance
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed
Commitment to be on-site a minimum of 2 days a week

Desired skills
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Experience managing multiple complex subcontracts
Familiarity with LMAPs, SC Navigator, P2P, and SAP
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / LMAP
Working knowledge of standard contract types
Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, statements of work, and equipment within the defense industry
Experience working on development and EV contracts
CAM certified

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
