Job Description:
We are seeking experienced RN Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Kansas City, MO. This role is available in Med-Surg, Med-Surg (Ortho/Trauma), and Inpatient Oncology units. Shifts include nights with rotating weekends.

As a CNC, you will:

• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and oversee unit operations during your shift.
• Collaborate with the management team to monitor and evaluate nursing care, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for staff, providing guidance and support to improve patient outcomes.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and staff scheduling to maintain efficient workflows.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support a culture of teamwork and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff during your shift.
• Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Assist with interviewing, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal unit operations.
• Promote a positive work environment through employee rounding and other engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN). BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current RN license in Missouri or a compact multistate license.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience:
  
  • Med-Surg/Ortho/Trauma: Recent acute care experience in Med-Surg (minimum 2 years as staff RN or charge RN).
  • Oncology: Recent acute care experience in Oncology (minimum 2 years as staff RN or charge RN).
